Kawasaki Heavy Industries Solid Sorbent Carbon Capture Project
The Kawasaki Heavy Industries Solid Sorbent Carbon Capture Project is developing an advanced carbon capture technology designed to reduce the energy intensity and cost of capturing carbon dioxide emissions from industrial facilities.
Supported by LETA, the project is focused on enhancing a solid sorbent material capable of capturing more than 90 per cent of CO₂ emissions from industrial flue gas streams. The technology has the potential to significantly reduce the energy requirements and operating cost of carbon capture systems while maintaining high capture performance.
